I have been going to this Mandarin for several years. The restaurant is always clean. Buffet is well attended and kept stocked. Generally a good variety of standard items. It’s in a small shopping plaza with a large amount of parking. Take out is always quick and easy. Orders are accurate. Remember to pay cash as you get a discount.

Great variety of food. Chinese as well as prim rib, grilled chicken and fish. Great variety of desert. Crab claws are only on the weekends for a bit extra (32+tax) than the week days(25+tax). The ambience is great. Both casual and bit dressy. Good service.

But friends, be warned: if you want to hide your shame and eat in peace, Mandarin is not the place for you. The customer service is good...TOO good. Even if this is your 50th visit, you will recieve the welcome speech. Your waitress will approach you often to ensure everything is alright. Your beverages will be topped off before you can even consume half a glass. The damn outlet manager will introduce herself to your party and drop off her business card in what I can only describe as some failed attempt at networking.

Eat in or take out... The Mandarin has a great selection of tasty foods. Take-out portions are a good size. Make sure you get your soy sauce/plum sauce with your take-out, as this tends to get overlooked on a regular basis.

There is never a time when you are left alone at Mandarin; and perhaps this is their intention: to distract you from the horrors you've exposed your body to via unlimited crab legs and Shanghai noodles. You don't really want to be given the time to contemplate what events lead up to you spending $31 for dinner here anyways.

I brought my two and a half year old daughter here becayse she hates sitting still in a normal restaurant. It was great. There was so much for her to see and she could get up and walk around as much as she needed without making a disturbance. She absolutely loved all the fish and waved good bye to them as we left. A lot of fun - great ribs.

I'm sure everyone knows the pros of this buffet. The food is generally awesome, except maybe a couple of the deserts being bland little pucks. You can gorge yourself to the point of self-loathing here, it's quite wonderful.
